HAI DUONG: WOMAN PROSECUTED FOR TRADING RARE WILDLIFE
On July 25, Hai Duong Provincial Police informed that Kinh Mon town police had just issued a decision to prosecute the subject of illegally storing, transporting and trading in a live wild animal.

Specifically, on May 5, at National Highway 17B, the area in front of the gate of Ngu Uyen Cultural Residential Area, Long Xuyen Ward, Kinh Mon Town, Hai Duong Province, Kinh Mon Town Police coordinated with the Town Forest Protection Department. Kinh Mon commune checked and discovered a car with license plate 29A-333.01, the driver was Mr. Ngo Truong Thanh (born in 1989, permanent residence in Vu Le commune, Bac Son district, Lang Son province) and the subject Le. Thi Nga (born in 1985, permanent residence in Quang Son commune, Dong Hy district, Thai Nguyen province) is illegally storing, transporting, and trading in a live wild animal (Culi).

During the investigation, Kinh Mon town police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute the accused against Le Thi Nga for violations of regulations on protection of endangered, precious and rare animals according to Article 2 of this Law. 244 Penal Code.
The case is still being investigated and handled by the authorities.
