The A Luoi market is considered a distinctive cultural feature of the highland people in Thua Thien Hue province. It is an opportunity for people to share local products, exchange regional cultures, and share information about life. On this occasion, the event “Integrating Wildlife Conservation Communication into the A Luoi Market Event” was held to disseminate messages about protecting endangered and precious wildlife species in the community. The event was co-organized by the non-profit organization Choice, WildAid Vietnam, in collaboration with the A Luoi Youth Union, the A Luoi People’s Committee, the Sao La Special Conservation Forest Ranger Station, and Hue traditional craft artisans. A number of notable activities were organized at the event, such as exhibitions, games, performances, and Sình village painting experiences. Through these activities, the event not only preserves and promotes the unique cultural features of the Thua Thien Hue highlands but also strongly spreads the message of wildlife conservation to the community.
